Ty Clwyd Centre
Ty Clwyd, owned by Girlguiding Clwyd, is a multi-purpose holiday and conference centre with full facilities for the disabled.
It is located in an attractive rural setting of approximately 9 acres, bordered by its own woodland.
The building is situated in Llanfairtalhaiarn, 5 miles inland from the North Wales coastal town of Abergele, approximately 1 hour from Chester.
The site is for hire for members of Girlguiding UK, Scouts and other organisations for weekly, evening or day stays. Organisations other than Girlguiding and Scouts must have their own insurance when hiring Ty Clwyd.
There is a 1 storey building which can sleep up to 30 people. The two dormitories sleep 12 in each room. They are furnished with sturdy pine bunk beds and the 2 leaders' rooms, each sleeping 3, have a combination of single and bunk beds. The First Aid room has a single bed. There are ample toilets and showers.
The main hall in the house is large and bright with a view across one of its campsites and the hills beyond. It will accommodate approximately 65 for meetings and there is conference equipment including an LCD projector and a pull-down screen. (Hirers must supply their own laptops).
A smaller room is equipped with comfortable chairs and coffee tables and can accommodate 12 for small meetings.
The kitchen is well equipped with a large cooker, fridge and chest freezer, 2 microwaves, 2 large toasters and a full selection of cooking equipment. Hirers should note that there is no grill.
The 4 unequipped campsites have access to taps, showers and toilets and to a barn which can be used for storage and dry shelter.
There is a campfire circle available at the top of campsite 2 (Onnen). Please refer to the map in the 'campsite details' menu.
The site facilities may be booked at any time; however, it is important to note that prices are reviewed on an annual basis and changes apply from 1st January. Girlguiding Clwyd reserves the right to amend prices when appropriate and these charges will be attributed to the hirer.
We request that all damage is reported so that we can carry out the necessary work or replace items immediately. Significant damage only will be charged for.

General Information
ALL INDOOR ACCOMMODATION IS STRICTLY NO SMOKING
There is a smoking area provided at the back of the house. Smoking is allowed in this designated area ONLY.
Dogs
No Dogs (except for Assistance dogs) on whole of Ty Clwyd site.
Car Parking
There is parking for 12 cars for hirers of the house. The campers' car park is situated by the toilet block.
